ASDevices is proud to announce the creation of a new and independent entity, CVProducts (CVP – Chromatographic Valves and Products), dedicated exclusively to valves, tubes, and fittings technologies. This strategic move follows the remarkable success of the company’s patented PLSV valve technology, introduced in 2017, which has now become a recognized industry standard.

The recent release of a 100% backward-compatible version with legacy conical rotary valves has accelerated growth in the valve business segment, necessitating dedicated focus and resources. While CVP will maintain the same ownership structure as ASDevices, it will operate with its own specialized team and market approach.

“The operational requirements of an analyzer business differ significantly from those of a valve business, with each demanding distinct commercialization strategies,” explained André Lamontagne, President. “This separation allows both entities to optimize their respective business models while maintaining our commitment to innovation and quality.”

CVP inherits the full portfolio of ASDevices’ valve-related intellectual property, including six patents in valve and fitting technologies. The company’s chromatographic valves feature a unique leak testing system that is four times more sensitive than helium mass spectrometers, with 100% of valves tested during manufacturing.
