ASDevices to Double Production Capacity with New Canadian Plant, Dedicated Innovation Center, and Expanded Global Service Network

New China office opening fall 2026 and Taiwan service center in 2027 will bring faster after-sales support and technical service to customers across Asia.

ASDevices, a global leader in ultra-trace gas analysis technologies, announces a major expansion of its operations, including a new production plant in Canada that will double the company’s manufacturing capacity, a dedicated innovation center for R&D, and new local offices to strengthen after-sales service and technical support for customers worldwide.

The expansion is the result of a strategic planning process spanning over 12 months, during which ASDevices evaluated its manufacturing footprint, service infrastructure, and R&D capacity against its long-term growth trajectory. The new Canadian production plant will double ASDevices’ current manufacturing capacity, allowing the company to meet growing global demand for its ultra-trace gas analyzers, from the recently launched KA34X Series of trace oxygen analyzers to its continuous quality control and gas chromatography platforms. The expansion reflects the company’s continued commitment to Canadian manufacturing as it scales to serve semiconductor, hydrogen, specialty gas, and air separation customers around the world.

“This expansion is the result of more than a year of careful planning, not a reaction to short-term demand,” said André Lamontagne, CEO and Chairman of the Board of ASDevices. “We have been building toward this deliberately, and doubling our production capacity now ensures we can keep delivering the reliability our customers count on, without compromise, as we grow.”

Alongside the new plant, ASDevices will open a dedicated innovation center focused on advancing the company’s core mission in ultra-trace gas analysis. The center will bring together engineers and scientists to accelerate development of the next generation of instruments, building on three decades of innovation that began with the world’s first digital N2-in-argon analyzer and continues today with breakthroughs in ppt-level oxygen measurement, hydrogen purity analysis, and wear-proof valve technology.

“Innovation in ultra-trace analysis is part of our DNA, and this center gives that mission a permanent home,” said Yves Gamache, CTO and founder of ASDevices. “It lets our team focus entirely on what comes next, with the space, equipment, and talent to keep pushing the boundaries of what these instruments can measure.”

ASDevices is also expanding its global service network to bring faster after-sales support and technical service closer to its customers. A new local office providing twice the footprint is scheduled to open in China in fall 2026, followed by a new service center in Taiwan in 2027. These hubs will provide on-the-ground technical support, faster response times, and localized service for the company’s growing base of semiconductor and specialty gas customers across Asia.

“Our customers in Asia, including some of the world’s leading semiconductor manufacturers, need fast, reliable technical support close to their operations,” said Frank Zhu, Global VP of Sales at ASDevices. “Expanding our office in China this fall, followed by a dedicated service center in Taiwan in 2027, allows us to be there when our customers need us, with the same level of expertise they get from our team in Canada. We also plan to add more service centers in Europe and USA.”

Together, the new production plant, innovation center, and expanded service network represent one of the largest growth initiatives in ASDevices’ history, positioning the company to scale its manufacturing, its R&D, and its customer support in step with rising global demand.
