ASDevices CEO, Yves Gamache, named personality of the year
World renowned inventor and entrepreneur Yves Gamache has been recognized as Personality of the Year at the Zenith Gala. He has greatly contributed to Canada’s international reputation and this award is the culmination of a long and successful career.
Despite the pandemic, Mr. Gamache and his team continued to develop new ideas, resulting in the world’s first process analysis solution for hydrogen fuel cells. This new solution will be used at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.
In addition to innovation in gas analysis, his leadership has led to the development of a new type of respirator that neutralizes pathogens such as COVID and a new technology that detects cancer based on biomarkers in breath. These new technologies, commercialized by Spira Innovation, will soon be marketed in the United States.
