ASDevices at GIGIE 2026: Innovation, Connections, and a Breakthrough in Ultra-Trace Oxygen Analysis

The International Gas Industry Expo 2026 (GIGIE 2026), held April 15–17 in Wuxi, China, brought together the leading companies, engineers, and decision-makers shaping the future of the global gas industry. For ASDevices, it was three days of remarkable conversations, meaningful connections, and the opportunity to put our latest innovations in front of exactly the right audience.
From the moment the doors opened, the energy at our stand was extraordinary. A continuous flow of visitors — customers, prospects, and industry partners from across energy, semiconductor, environmental, and industrial gas sectors — made every hour of the event a testament to the growing demand for high-performance ultra-trace gas analysis solutions.
The Breakthrough That Stopped People in Their Tracks
While our full portfolio attracted strong interest, one product in particular generated exceptional excitement throughout the three days: the newly launched KA34X Series ultra trace oxygen analyzer.
Visitors were drawn in by a simple but powerful value proposition. Conventional trace oxygen analyzers suffer from a fundamental design vulnerability: microscopic air leaks around the cathode housing introduce drift, offsets, and unexplained signal spikes that become increasingly problematic as detection limits approach ppb and ppt levels. The KA34X Series eliminates this problem entirely.
Powered by a patent-pending purged-cathode, non-depleting coulometric sensor, the KA34X delivers true zero stability at ppb and ppt levels. A fully purged cathode shield creates a controlled barrier that blocks ambient oxygen from reaching the sensing elements. The electrolyte reservoir is also purged, preventing oxygen and CO₂ from diffusing in over time — a common failure mode in open-reservoir designs that the KA34X makes obsolete.
The result is an analyzer that provides reliable, drift-free measurements with dramatically reduced operator intervention and maintenance burden. For industries where oxygen impurity control is mission-critical — semiconductor manufacturing, hydrogen production, specialty gas, food packaging — this represents a genuine step forward.
A Full Portfolio on Display
Beyond the KA34X, our team showcased the breadth of ASDevices’ analytical capabilities:
- Next-generation GC systems with our patented Enhanced Plasma Discharge (Epd) technology, achieving ultra-trace detection at ppb and ppt levels across a wide range of compounds
- H₂ purity analyzers designed to meet the ISO 14687:2019 standard for fuel-grade hydrogen, a rapidly growing application as the hydrogen economy expands
- Portable and on-site trace gas analyzers built for real-world industrial environments where laboratory conditions are not available
- Smart, connected monitoring platforms for continuous gas quality control in process applications
Each solution reflects ASDevices’ core philosophy: building instruments that combine exceptional sensitivity with the robustness, reliability, and ease of use that industrial operations demand.
The Conversations That Matter Most
With more than 30 years of expertise in ultra-trace gas analysis, the ASDevices team did not come to GIGIE 2026 just to exhibit — we came to listen. Our team of GC specialists spent the three days in in-depth discussions with clients across every major sector, exploring measurement challenges, discussing emerging applications, and identifying where the next generation of analytical technology needs to go.
These conversations — with process engineers troubleshooting measurement stability, with quality managers seeking better monitoring solutions, with R&D teams pushing the boundaries of gas purity — are what fuel our innovation. Every instrument we build starts with a real problem from a real customer.
Looking Ahead
GIGIE 2026 confirmed what we already believed: the demand for high-performance, reliable ultra-trace gas analysis has never been stronger. As industries from hydrogen energy to semiconductor manufacturing continue to push the boundaries of gas purity, the need for instruments that can measure at the ppb and ppt level — accurately, consistently, and with minimal maintenance — will only grow.
We are grateful to everyone who visited our stand, to the GIGIE 2026 organizers for an outstanding event, and to our team for representing ASDevices with such dedication and expertise. The best is yet to come.
