In the face of new regulations, traditional technologies such as the flame ionizer detector (FID) were encountering performance limitations. What’s more, other technologies that were developed for laboratory use are not well-suited to the harsh environmental and greenhouse gases market. Our enhanced plasma discharge (Epd) sensing technology is a true breakthrough for volatile organic compound (VOC) analysis as well as ultra-trace sulfur in air. Sulfur analysis in air

The most sensitive, robust solution on the market

Companies often need to conduct sulfur in air analysis, but transmission limits had been significantly lowered and existing technologies were reaching their limits. Our innovative solution changed all that. Based on our enhanced plasma discharge (Epd) sensing technology, our technology has been proven to replace complex, costly SCD and FPD/PFPD detectors across a variety of industrial applications. It only requires nitrogen carrier gas – without a supporting gas like hydrogen, oxygen or air – so it’s simpler to integrate on site. Combined with our patent-pending PLSV (the most reliable in the field), you get a reliable GC solution that’s low-maintenance, too.

BTEX analysis in air

The solution for lower emission limits

While the analysis of BTEX levels in air is a very common application, the challenge was that emission limits have been lowered and existing technologies were reaching their limits. To make matters worse, flame ionization detectors (FID) require gases such as H2 that are currently manufactured using processes that generate greenhouse gases. Based on our proprietary patented enhanced plasma discharge (Epd) technology and requiring only N2 carrier gas, our GC solution is simple to install in the field, low maintenance, and offers an unsurpassed level of sensitivity. Plus, it’s been designed to exceed both current and future regulations.
